The Koll an Aktioun festival is offering a varied programme for family audiences and fans of culture in all its forms. Alongside a line-up of national and international music, the festival will offer a wide variety of cultural activities in the impressive historic area of the Slate Museum in Haut-Martelange.

Since its early days, this family festival has become a not-to-be-missed event in the national calendar. With the support of the municipality of Rambrouch and the Musée de l'Ardoise, the organizers of Kollibri a.s.b.l. are once again committed to making the eighth edition of Koll an Aktioun an unforgettable event for the whole family.

Slate Museum

After the last slate mine had been closed in 1986, the whole area of Haut-Martelange had been left unexploited. To avoid that this part of Luxembourgish history will disappear, inhabitants of the surrounding villages united in 1992 and called up the association of the “friends of the slate”. This association has the target to bring the slate mines in Haut-Martelange back to life by opening it to the public. Since 1st January 2019, the Slate Museum is managed by the new administration ‘Musée de l’Ardoise asbl’, which is composed of the Luxembourgish State, the municipality Rambrouch and the ‘Friends of the Slate asbl’.
